Adult Responsibilities/ Family Life Education
Each is a half-semester course. Areas taught include: influence of society, economic conditions, personal values, goals, decision-making skills, individual and family management, financial resource management including consumer education, interpersonal skills and family relationships, parenting responsibilities and competencies for securing and holding jobs and establishing careers. There are no prerequisites. However, it is recommended that a student completes Family & Consumer Sciences I before scheduling Adult Responsibilities/Family Life Education and this course is recommended for 11th & 12th grade students.
